Laneway Beverage Co. was born from years behind the bar in Adelaide CBD, building a deep appreciation for well-made drinks and great flavour. Today, it’s moved back home to the Barossa, operating from a shared creative space at Jamhouse Winery alongside Forage Supply Co, Dave Geyer Wines and White Gate Wines - surrounded by growers, makers, and good people.

After opening venues like Alfred’s, Malt & Juniper, and Jennie Wine Bar, I set out to create spirits that reflected everything I love about gin - clean, balanced, and genuinely enjoyable to drink.

It all started using a tiny 5L still in a shed, experimenting combinations. Whilst in those early days, I was very fortunate to share the journey with people who helped shape the foundation of Laneway. While it’s now a solo venture, their contribution remains a huge part of the story.

That same mindset still drives me today: doing things differently, not to follow trends, but to create flavours that genuinely haven’t existed before. When Shiraz gin was everywhere, we released a Montepulciano Gin instead - finding Barossa Monte fruit to create something darker, softer, and more savoury.

When spicy margaritas were having their moment, we created Hot Honey Gin - built for spicy Gimlets and bold, warming serves and rather than making a traditional limoncello, we sourced local Adelaide Hills yuzu to create a Yuzu Cello - brighter, more aromatic.

Every release begins the same way - experimentation and a simple goal: to make spirits with character and intention.
